Candidates who wish to appear for CTET 2022 need to pay the application fee online along with the application form. For General, OBC candidates the application fee is Rs. 1000/- for one paper, and Rs. 1200/- for both the papers. For candidates belonging to other categories (SC, ST, PWD, etc.), the application fee is Rs. 500/- for one paper and Rs. 600/- for both the papers. CTET application fee can be paid online.

CTET Eligibility
CTET exam is conducted at two levels. CTET Level-I is for class 1 to 5 teacher candidates, and CTET Level-II is for class 6 to 8 teacher candidates. The CTET Eligibility for both the levels is given below:
CTET Eligibility for Level-I (Class 1-5)
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations Those or passed. 2002. or
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed). OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). either
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)
- who has obtained the qualification of Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in Classes I to V, provided that the person appointed as a teacher shall have compulsorily six years of experience in elementary education. Recognized one month bridge course. NCTE, within two years of such appointment as Primary Teacher”.
CTET Eligibility for Level-II (Class 6-8)
- Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). either
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). either
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. either
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed). OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year BA/B.Sc.Ed or BAEd/B.Sc.Ed. either
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed. (special education)*. OR Any candidate having B.Ed. program recognized by NCTE to be eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Further, as per the extant TET guidelines circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011, a person who is pursuing any teacher education course (recognized by NCTE or RCI) as may be specified in the NCTE notification. dated 23 August 2010 is also eligible to appear in TET/CTET.
